* Advisory Committee was to present to the PPS School Board about Kenton School use by De LaSalle pushed back to 6/26.
o Short Introductions by Presenting Groups
* TriMet – Purchase of Triad Site and ideas for redevelopment
* Celebration Tabernacle/Celebration Academy – PROPER event/celebration in summer
* Kenton Business Association. Meets third Monday of every month.
* Lew Fredrick – Candidate for Multnomah County Commissioner
* PDC – Downtown Kenton Redevelopment Project. Work to come to decisions/compromises about Kenton Streetscape.
* Historic Kenton Firehouse Committee – Rent for private and community events. Present flier from tonight’s general meeting and get 15% off rental.
* North Portland Tool Lending Library – Sign up for free tool rentals. Only need ID and utility bill to prove residence.
* 40 Mile Loop – Pam Arden -3 dollars for map tonight
* Penninsula Crossing Trail – Pam Arden-
* Willamette Greenway – Pam Arden -trail from Eastside Esplanade to N PTLD. Get info, get involved.
* PIR Noise Issues – Breakfast with Mayor Potter June 17th from 9-11am at the home of Steve Cox 2544 N Halleck 3 doors west of Kenton Park to hear the noise from PIR. Come join. For more info or to RSVP contact Steve at 503.978.6799.
* Construction Contractor’s Board – Advocating the use of licensed contractors
* Portland Planning Bureau – Willamette GreenWay Plan – River Reniassance. Trying to get a trail along the river, get folks out on the river, clean-up brown fields etc.
* Friends of Trees – Interested in Trees see Lori Krampetz or see the Friends of Trees web site.

* Voter Owned Elections – Amanda Fritz – Encouraging support of voter owned elections and neighborhood activism
* Columbia Slough Watershed Council – June 24th celebration on the Slough. Explorando el Columbia Slough, Saturday June 24 1-5pm. Columbia Slough Regatta Sunday 7/30 at 9am. Canoes will be loaned with a requested $5 donation. Call 503.281.1132 or visit them at www.columbiaslough.org. for more info.
* Officer Appreciation Day June 21st – Would like to provide refreshments for officers. Anyone interested contact Kert Wright.
* Harbor Oil Community Advisory Group – tracking what the EPA is doing in the Portland Harbor by Force Lake past PIR.
* Community Policing Office in Downtown Kenton– Would love anyone interested in volunteering.

o Friends Between the Rivers Accounts - $874
o Kenton Firehouse Account - Over $13,000 (does not reflect expenses)
o Kenton Neighborhood Association – balance $1022
o Brenda asks the membership and the board to grant the treasurer and chairperson access to all accounts for easier accounting and flexibility. Motion to approve Brenda Ray Scott for access to account by Rich Watson. Seconded by Susan Abe. 72 approve. 0 opposed.
o Motion to approve Aaron for access to all accounts by Susan Abe. Seconded by Rich Watson. 61 approved 0 opposed
* Board Seat Elections – Matt Svymbersky, Secretary
o After an invitation for nominations from the floor, Tim Lyden requests to be nominated for an At Large Board seat.
o The following are board members are up for re-election for one year terms.

o Brenda suggests that Kenton Neighborhood Association nominate Alta Mitchoff for a Bank of America award. Issue will be addressed at the next Kenton Neighborhood Association.
